Matcha Donuts

Learn how to make matcha donuts using Yum Matcha's on-the-go matcha powder packets.

  • Preheat the oven to 350ºF (~177ºC).
  • Use a whisk to combine cake flour, SweetenFX™, baking powder, sea salt, and Yum Matcha™ in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  • Add egg, milk, unsalted butter, and honey. Whisk them together thoroughly until the batter is sticky and dough-like.
  • Coat the donut pan with a non-stick cooking spray and funnel the batter into a pastry bag. Fill each mold about ¾ of the way with batter.
  • Bake them for 10-15 min. When the donuts are close to being done, they should look lightly browned and cake-like. Insert a skewer or toothpick into one donut and pull it out. If the toothpick comes out clean, they are done.
  • Let the donuts cool for 5-10 minutes on a cooling rack.
