Matcha Maple Oatmeal

Start your morning with a heart-healthy bowl of oatmeal! 🍵💚 This recipe is 100% sugar-free and has about 20% of your daily recommended fiber.

  • First, combine our Yum Matcha™ powder and oats in a small saucepan (the oats should be evenly coated with a thin layer of matcha powder).
  • Add milk or a non-dairy alternative, water, and bring to a boil.
  • As soon as the liquid starts boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for about 8-10 minutes, stirring regularly.
  • Once the oatmeal reaches the desired thickness, let it stand for 2-3 minutes.
  • Next, scoop the oatmeal into a bowl, or bowls if you’re sharing.
  • Finally, drizzle maple syrup over the oatmeal and top with a pinch of Naturlax psyllium fiber powder.

Notes

NOTE: If you’re using maple syrup powder, pour the maple syrup powder and water into a separate bowl. Thoroughly mix together until the mixture is the texture of syrup, then stir in sea salt.
